Hello you beautiful person!

My name is Gro Anita, and I strongly believe that you can do, be and achieve exactly what you want and dream of. Over the years I have heard time and time again that I have my head up in the clouds and that I should come down from there, as there is nothing for me, or others for that matter, up there. I have embraced that, and my answer for a long time now has been “Well I like it up here, I am staying!” That will forever be my answer. 😀

I have a Bachelor in Nursing from 2004, and I have been working in different areas within the healthcare system ever since. It has taught me a lot and I am grateful for that.

For as long as I can remember, I have had an, what should I call it, an eager, a desire, a wish, for ´more´. I have not quite been able to identify what this ´more´ has been. But it´s been there constantly, and refused to let go. It´s quite the challenge isn´t it, when you learn from early age that you should be thankful for what you have, and not demand or wish for more because that makes you greedy and selfish. It creates a conflict within that´s not necessarily easy to ignore. “I have so much, I should not wish for more” Sounds familiar? 🙂

The decision

Well, at one point I just decided to listen to this `voice` within, and set out to find what my `more` could be. And boy did I search. And find. And try. And stumble and fall. And search. And find. And try. And stumble and fall. You get the picture, right? 😂 It´s what happens when you break loose from the old patterns and chains that society says is “right for you.”  Good thing there´s a learning in everything! 😊

The awakening

For me it was changing my mindset that changed everything. And I mean everything. I was one of those who was stuck in the roadmap dealt by society; a “9 to 5” job as an employee. Because that´s what we´ve been told right? “Go to school, get a job.”

Guess what! That´s not the only way!

I changed my mindset and by that pretty much everything changed. And I´ve never looked back.  I´m NOT saying it was or is, a walk in the park changing the way I have been thinking for most of my life. It´s not. The important thing is to know and remember it is possible. For you. For me. For everyone who wants something to change. I love the saying “You can´t keep doing the same thing over and over, and expect a different result.”

The only thing that really matters is that you believe it can be done, that it truly is possible to have what you dream of (because it is!). And you´re well on your way. 👏

A dreamer, a believer, a doer.

That´s how I see myself now. I know what I want, and I´m going for it. Not settling, not giving up. If I give up on me, what´s left then? I have dreams, I have goals, I am going to work for them. And I am enjoying the journey! There is so much to see, so much to experience. Life is an amazing place to be. 🤩

If it´s one thing I have learned, it´s that the only person responsible for my life, is me. I have decided not to listen to what I refer to as the “dream killers”. They are around for sure but they have no place in my surroundings.

This is my life. My life, my choice, my decisions, my dreams and goals. ❤️
